Contact our office for parking permit options if you will be arriving before parking permits go on sale.
Off-campus residents are eligible for commuter A, B, or C permits. Learn more about what parking permit options are available for students living off campus.

The Corvallis Fire Department gives special permission to allow temporary loading/unloading in fire lanes during your scheduled move in day. Parking in fire lanes or yellow curbs is not permitted the rest of the year, so please obey all posted signs and painted curbs during your future visits!
Parking permits in A, B, or C commuter zones are required 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday, year-round, even when classes are not in session. You can purchase daily parking permits online or hourly parking permits from one of the many pay stations on campus. Please do not park in Residential R parking lots, as these locations are for campus residents only, 24/7.
Get around campus easily on the free on-campus shuttle, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Track your bus with the OSU Mobile app.
“I didn’t bring a car to campus and I ended up liking it a lot. [...] I get to explore campus and all of Corvallis in a much more personal way than if I had a car. I think if I’d had a car I wouldn’t know the area as well. I usually bike to and from campus but when I have extra time I always prefer to walk.”
-Audrey, Sophomore, Civil Engineering
“Getting a bike makes life on campus so much easier and gives you more time to study or be with friends. Not having a car is just one less thing to worry about. I use a bike as my main mode of transport.”
-Martin, Sophomore, Chemical Engineering
“I would tell freshmen that having a car isn’t completely liberating. When you aren’t bound to a car you have the freedom to get around any way else, and it’s exciting to pull up Google Maps and figure out how to ride a public bus or walk somewhere."
- Liz, Sophomore, Business Management
Corvallis Transit System buses are free! Plan your route with Google Maps and track your bus with the Corvallis Bus app.
The Linn Benton Loop offers bus service between OSU and LBCC for free with an OSU ID.
“If you ever need to get somewhere off campus Corvallis city buses are free. They have an app with their routes and times which is really helpful!"
- Isabel, Sophomore, Bioengineering
